Priorities:

Giving Residents a Voice

Dan’s top priority is to be responsive to the residents of Bedford with resolving code compliance issues, answering questions and providing information on city policies and council decisions. Dan knocked on over 4,000 doors during his first campaigns to meet with residents at their doorstep and hear their concerns, an achievement unlike any council member in the past.

“As an elected official it is your duty to empower your constituents by meeting them where they are and listening to their concerns.” - Dan Cogan

In addition to meeting with residents, Dan has pushed for improved outreach through various social media channels, newsletters, and citizen surveys. Today, we have a state and national award winning communications team who are committed to engaging with residents now more than ever.
